Code of Ethics for Impact96 Shadow Coach Tarot Practice

This Code of Ethics serves as a guiding framework to maintain the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and professionalism in all Tarot readings and interactions. It is designed to establish clear boundaries, create a safe environment, and set realistic expectations for clients while upholding the core values of learning, teaching, and empowerment.

Guiding Principles

  1. Confidentiality and Privacy

    • All client information and readings are strictly confidential. No details will be shared without the client’s explicit permission.

    • Record-keeping, if any, will respect client anonymity and comply with all privacy standards.

  2. Honesty and Transparency

    • Tarot readings are approached with authenticity and sincerity.

    • All interpretations are presented with honesty while encouraging clients to reflect and make empowered decisions.

    • No claims of supernatural abilities are made; insights stem from intuition, experience, and the guidance of the Tarot.

  3. Free Will and Empowerment

    • Clients are reminded that they are the creators of their own lives, and Tarot is a tool to inspire introspection, choice, and personal growth.

    • No reading will diminish a client’s sense of agency or suggest a fixed destiny.

  4. Ethical Boundaries

    • Third-Party Readings: Tarot readings are centered on the client. Questions about others (e.g., “Does John love Sally?”) will be reframed to focus on the client and the client’s experiences and feelings.

    • Minors: Readings for minors will be conducted with the utmost care and will reflect a supportive, guiding tone, similar to the wisdom of a loving mentor.

    • Medical, Financial, or Legal Advice: Tarot is not a substitute for professional expertise. Clients will be encouraged to seek appropriate advice for these matters.

  5. What the Tarot Can and Cannot Do

    • Tarot provides insights by tapping into intuition and highlighting what may be hidden or overlooked. It is a tool for self-reflection, not fortune-telling.

    • While Tarot may inspire a sense of possibility, it does not provide definitive predictions about the future. Instead, readings focus on helping clients prepare for potential scenarios and take empowered steps.

  6. Professionalism

    • Clients are treated with compassion and without judgment, regardless of their beliefs, experiences, or questions.

    • Readings are conducted in a safe and respectful manner, free from sensationalism or manipulation.

  7. Personal Integrity

    • The practice of Tarot honors personal intuition, philosophical wisdom, and a commitment to truth. Information that cannot be verified is not fabricated.

  8. Boundaries of Practice

    • Tarot is used as a tool for inspired introspection, not prophecy.

    • Focus remains on the client’s experiences, relationships, and opportunities for growth rather than speculative or intrusive concerns about others.

Core Values

  • Learning: Tarot readings are approached as opportunities for personal and collective learning.

  • Teaching: Readings aim to empower clients with knowledge and tools for self-reflection.

  • Connection: Every interaction is grounded in creating meaningful, compassionate connections.

Client Expectations

Clients can expect a reading that:

  • Honors their autonomy and fosters self-awareness.

  • Respects their privacy and personal boundaries.

  • Provides compassionate, empowering guidance and insights.

This Code of Ethics reflects a commitment to maintaining a professional, empathetic, and empowering Tarot practice. Clients are encouraged to approach readings with openness, and together, we will explore insights to support their highest good.
